Flents Soft-Grip Contact Lens Case - 1 EA
For storage of soft (hydrophilic) rigid gas permeable (RGP), or hard contact lenses during chemical disinfection. For use in storage during chemical disinfection only. Do not use during heat disinfection. Leak-proof design. Contains 1 contact lens case.
Directions: Before initial use wash your contact lens case with warm water. DO NOT USE any soaps, detergents, or other household chemicals. After washing, RINSE THOROUGHLY with sterile disinfecting solution. 1. Fill right lens-well 2/3 full with fresh STERILE DISINFECTING SOLUTION, immerse one lens and screw cap shut until tight using only fresh contact lens disinfecting solution each time you store your lenses. 2. Repeat same procedure with other lens-well and lens. 3. Leave lenses in the case for the length of time prescribed by your eye care practitioner. BEFORE WEARING, rinse each lens thoroughly in STERILE SOLUTION as recommended for use with your lenses. 4. Rinse your lens case with sterile contact solution (never use tap water) and leave the lens case open to dry after each use. Turn the case over and shake any excess solution out of the case. Be sure that no residual solution remains in the case before you allow it to air dry. 5. Replace lens case at least once every 3 months. Contact lens cases can be a source of bacterial growth. Consult solution manufacturer's recommended for disposal of solution after opening. 6. Do not expose your contact lenses to water while you are wearing them.
Warnings: Lens cases can be a significant source of microbial contamination. To prevent eye infections, lens cases should be cleaned, rinsed, and air dried every day. Using your multi-purpose solution beyond the discard date could result in contamination of the solution and could lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness. Use of this lens case with heat may cause warpage. USE FOR STORAGE DURING CHEMICAL DISINFECTION ONLY. DO NOT USE WITH HEAT. If eye infection, pain or irritation persists with lens wear, remove lenses promptly and contact your eye care practitioner immediately. Never reuse, or top off old solution left in your case as solution reuse reduces effective lens disinfection and could lead to severe infection, vision loss, or blindness. Topping off is the addition of fresh solution to solution that has been sitting in your case. Do not store your lens or rinse your lens case with water or any non-sterile solution. Only use fresh, sterile, solution so you do not contaminate your lenses or lens case. Use of non-sterile solution can lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness. Never heat lenses in disinfecting solution not for heat disinfection. Chemical disinfection only! Do not try to remove a lens if the lens-well appears dry following the disinfecting cycle. Refill the well with fresh saline solution re-cap tightly and wait 30 to 40 minutes for the lens to rehydrate. If either lens-well repeatedly dries out or leaks, the holder should be replaced. Keep away from small children.
