Major Children's Chewable Aspirin 81mg - 36 Tablets

For the temporary relief of: minor aches and pains, headaches and to: reduce fever associated with colds, sore throats and teething. Pure orange flavor. Compare to the active ingredient in Bayer Chewable Aspirin.*

Directions: To be administered only under adult supervision. Dosage may be repeated every 4 hours, not to exceed 5 times daily. Chew or swallow followed with 1/2 glass of water. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor. 2 up to 4 years, 32 to 35 lbs: 2 tablets. 4 up to 6 years, 36 to 45 lbs: 3 tablets. 6 up to 9 years, 46 to 65 lbs: 4 tablets. 9 up to 11 years, 66 to 76 lbs: 4-5 tablets. 11 up to 12 years, 77 to 83 lbs: 4-6 tablets. 12 and over years, 84 and over lbs: 5-8 tablets.

Inactive Ingredients: Dextrates; Ethylcellulose; FD&C Yellow #6; Orange Flavor; Sodium Saccharin; Starch

Warnings: Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Do not give this product to children for the pain of arthritis unless directed by a doctor. Do not take this product: for pain for more than 10 days (for adults) or 5 days (for children); for fever for more than 3 days unless directed by a doctor; if you are allergic to aspirin; for at least 7 days after tonsillectomy or oral surgery unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have: asthma; stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain) that persist or recur; gastric ulcers; bleeding problems or if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms do not improve; new symptoms occur; pain or fever persists or gets worse; redness or swelling is present; ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs; sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, or is accompanied by or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting. If pregnant or nursing a baby, ask a health professional before using this product. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOT TO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING DELIVERY.
