McKesson Hydrocolloid Dressing Thin 4"x4" - 10ct
Hydrocolloid dressings create a moist wound environment, conducive to healing and autolytic debridement. These dressings also protect the wound from external moisture and contaminants such as urine and feces and are designed to minimize bunching. Contents sterile in unopened, undamaged inner package. Not made with natural rubber latex.
Directions: Changing the dressing (frequency of change: up to 7 days). 1) Cleanse and assess the wound bed as appropriate. Select a dressing size 1" larger than the maximum wound dimension (length or width) to allow a minimum of 1/2" of skin contact beyond the wound margin. 2) Protect peri-wound skin as needed with liquid barrier film. Remove one side of the paper liner and, without tension, place dressing over wound and surrounding skin. Remove remaining film linger in the direction of the blue arrows and, without tension, smooth dressing over wound and surrounding skin. Avoid storage in direct sunlight/fluorescent lighting and keep area cool, dry and well-ventilated.
Warnings: DO NOT REUSE.
