No artificial growth hormones.* Alimentum contains a milk protein that is broken down into tiny pieces to virtually eliminate allergic reactions in most babies allergic to cow's milk protein. Hypoallergenic. 0 to 12 months. DHA for brain. Vitamin E for development. Protein for cow's milk allergy. Gluten free. *No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rbST-treated and non-rbST treated cows.
Directions: Use by date on can. Use as directed by a doctor. Your baby's health depends on carefully following these directions. Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Failure to follow these directions could result in severe harm. Ask your baby's doctor if you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and if you need to boil (sterilize) bottles, nipples and rings before use. Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils. Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle (see mixing guide). Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.7 g) to each 2 fl oz of water. Return dry scoop to can. Cap bottle shake well attach nipple. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard. Mixing guide: 2 fl oz water and 1 scoop unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop (8.7 g): 2 fl oz approx. finished bottle, 4 fl oz water and 2 scoops unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop: 4 fl oz approx. finished bottle. 6 fl oz water and 3 scoops unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop: 6 fl oz approx. finished bottle. 8 fl oz water and 4 scoops unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop: 8 fl oz approx. finished bottle. Storage: Once mixed, store bottles in refrigerator and feed to baby within 24 hours. Store unopened or opened container at room temperature avoid extreme temperatures. Use opened can contents within 1 month.
