Directions

1. Saturate a clean cotton swab, cotton ball, or piece of gauze with Mastisol. 2. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, intact skin where the adhesive portion of the dressing or medical device will contact the skin. Avoid contact with broken skin, cuts, wounds, sutures, and catheter insertion sites. 3. Make the application area slightly larger than the dressing’s adhesive area. Do not apply a thick coating, as this may reduce effectiveness. 4. Allow Mastisol to dry completely for approximately 20–30 seconds. 5. Apply the dressing or device according to its instructions. Press and smooth the adhesive securely over the dried Mastisol. For removal, the manufacturer recommends Detachol Adhesive Remover
